23.12.10 - Courtois Lebel, counsellor of Marilyn agency

Courtois Lebel provided advices to Marilyn Gauthier and Chantal Sellati during Marie Halley's entrance in Marilyn’s capital as investor.
Founded in 1985, Marilyn is one of the most famous model agencies around the world. The agency acts for models as famous as Kate Moss, Helena Christensen or Coco Rocha. It represents, manages careers and model contracts of many other celebrities.

15.10.10 - A new partner in the IT department

Arnaud Tessalonikos and his team joined Courtois Lebel in early September 2010 to strengthen Courtois Lebel IT and Telecoms department. Arnaud Tessalonikos began his career in 1996 as legal counsel for a company whose managers had a recognized and certificated expertise in Information Technology law practice before joining French and Anglo-Saxon law firms dedicated to Information Technology, Internet and Intellectual Property law.
He joined Alain Bensoussan law firm in 1997, then Salans law firm where he worked alongside Christiane Feral-Schuhl and Bruno Grégoire saint-Marie.
Being associate within Courtois Lebel from 2004 to 2008, he has a well-understanding and knowledge of Courtois Lebel. Afterwards he created his own law firm Abaque Avocats before joining Bignon Lebray law firm where he set up and developed the Intellectual Property and Advanced Technologies department.

30.06.09 - Two new managing partners

Courtois Lebel elects two new managing partners: Philippe Courtois and Sébastien Robineau. After 11 prosperous and rewarding years as Courtois Lebel’s managing partner, Nicolas Sauvage has made the decision to step down, stating “after spending so many years managing and building up the firm, I am keen to devote more of my time to my practice and I will, of course, join together to support our new managing partners in overcoming the challenges associated with the firm’s future growth and development”.

23.02.09 - The electronic registration of French trademarks

The National Intellectual Property Institute of France has just launched a service whereby, under certain conditions, and on the opening of an account, identified persons may electronically register trademarks. Courtois Lebel has opened one of these new accounts and so can access this online service.
